Our tumbled black quartz crystals are gathered with care from a small waterfall site in Ontario, an area celebrated for its mineral heritage. Each stone is removed as part of limited sampling from a designated zone that will soon be excavated and engineered for ridge integrity, ensuring that we preserve the balance of the land while sharing a glimpse of its natural treasures.

These polished crystals range in size from a small acorn to a lemon, making them versatile for display, energy practices, or collecting. Many contain natural fractures and dramatic internal splits, which refract light and create unique patterns inside the stone. Although the surfaces are smooth and solid, no two pieces are alike.

⚠️ Important Notes for Buyers

• Black quartz is known to fade over time, gradually changing from deep midnight black to smoky grey and eventually to clear. This transformation is natural and adds to the story of each stone.

• Many stones display internal fractures that highlight their character, yet all are structurally sound and durable.

• Larger specimens cannot be shipped outside of Ontario due to weight restrictions, but smaller tumbled pieces are available worldwide.

Quartz has a density of about 2.65 g/cm³, giving these stones a satisfying weight in the hand. A palm-sized piece typically weighs between 0.1 and 0.25 pounds, while smaller acorn-sized pieces are light enough to carry or use as pocket stones.
