Our Plantain Clay Patties are handmade with red Ontario clay, plantain seeds, husks, and mycelium.

Unlike our other native seed pucks, plantain isn’t indigenous to Canada but it has naturalized here over the past several hundred years around settlements. Long valued as a healing herb and resilient companion plant, and known as a “first aid” weed, plantain soothes cuts, stings, and bites, while its deep roots help break up compacted soil and support other plants.

Scatter, soak, or plant these patties to encourage growth of this hardy, beneficial ally in gardens, trails, and gathering places.

All items are handmade with care. Please note the following details regarding order fulfillment and shipping:

• Made to Order vs. Ready to Ship:
  Most items are made to order to ensure quality and customization. Select listings may be labeled ready to ship and will dispatch more quickly.

• Processing Times:
  Made-to-order items typically take 3–7 business days to craft before shipping. Ready-to-ship items are processed within 1–2 business days.

• Shipping Methods:
  Orders are shipped via Canada Post (or your preferred provider if different), with tracking provided where available. Standard, expedited, and Xpresspost options are offered at checkout.

• Holiday or High-Volume Delays:
  During holidays or peak seasons, processing and delivery may take longer. We’ll post updates on delays and do our best to keep you informed.
