Taanishi! When I found out that I was Metis, I began learning about my family's forgotten culture. I taught myself how to bead as a way to reconnect and reclaim my culture and traditions. I now am passionate about beadwork and I love the connection with my ancestors and current Indigenous communities that beadwork has brought me. I can't wait to hand make a beaded piece for you!
