Bozho ndenwémagnek, welcome to Kaitbeads!

My name is Kaitlyn, and my family comes from Moose Deer Point First Nation. I am a Bodéwadmi and settler Two Spirit artist, researcher, and social worker on a path of resurgence, using visual storytelling to reconnect with my spirit, my ancestors, my kin, future generations, and the land.

This intergenerational Bodéwadmi shop is guided by the matriarchs in my family, including my mom, aunties, cousins, and the teachings passed down from my grandmother and great grandmother. Their knowledge moves through every bead, every stitch, and every creation. What you see here is not just art but living memory, threads of story, care, and connection woven together by many hands across time.

Our creations celebrate our ancestors, strengthen kinship, and share our teachings and stories with all who walk alongside us. Chi migwéch for being here, for supporting our craft, and for helping these stories continue to thrive!
