Haŋ! Meghan emakiyapi ye. Hello! My name is Meghan. I have Whitecap Dakota First Nation and settler ancestry, I was born and raised in the NWT. I am on my journey to reconnecting with my heritage through language and beading. All of my creations are designed and created by hand with intention and gratitude. As someone who works in the mental health field, I truly believe that beading is my medicine. My own mental health has been greatly improved through beading - helping me to slow down and be mindful of every stitch I make with my needle.
