Tânisi! My name is Ashtin Cook, and my traditional Plains Cree name is Osāwōw Maskwā Iskwēw (Yellow Bear Woman). I am a Plains Cree artist from Onion Lake Cree Nation.

Rooted in Plains Cree tradition, my beadwork reflects the beauty, strength, and artistry carried through generations. Every piece is meticulously handcrafted with intention, blending traditional craftsmanship with a refined contemporary style to create timeless wearable art.

My passion for beadwork comes from the cultural teachings, stories, and regalia that have inspired me throughout my life. Through each design, I honour my ancestors, preserve Indigenous artistry, and celebrate the resilience and beauty of Plains Cree culture with authenticity, respect, and heart.
