About This Piece

Traditionally in my community, the night sky was used as a map, clock, and calendar for thousands of years. In addition, the stars helped up receive spiritual messages from our ancestors and guidance within ourselves. This piece represents how I feel when I look at the stars. I grew up in a small town with only 600 people, and when I was younger my friends and I used to lay in the grass and look at the stars for hours. Fast forward to now, I currently live in that same hometown on a property with 66 acres. I am grateful to live in an area with zero light pollution. Looking at the stars is so healing for my inner child and when the stars come out I feel at home. When you look at this piece, I hope you are encouraged to embrace all the little moments in life that make us feel alive, safe, and happy. Only 100 prints of this design were made.

Note: this is a print, not an original painting. Frame NOT included. Each print has a 0.36-inch white border around the design in order to include the handwritten print #, title, and signature at the bottom. Each print is 12"x12".
