This print is a digitized version of my acrylic painting "Sunbear". All of my designs are freehand drawn, and original designs by myself.

About This Piece

I am bear clan, and I strongly resonate with the bear medicine. In my community, the bear represents wisdom, they are the healers and the protectors. I often times see bears in my area and they always come to me when I need to see them most. They remind me to rest when I need to and to be strong when needed. Like the bear, we cannot pour from an empty cub. Embrace each season of change, and don't be afraid of rest. Rest in a colonial world, is resistance. This painting was made after my first piece, Bear Medicine, and while Bear Medicine represents rest, this bear represents strength, courage, activity, and energy. 

Only 100 prints of this design were made.
