Takwâkin: Autumn/Fall

These earrings are special to me and represent a new style of my art and the love and care I put into my small urban garden. The process of making these was slow and meticulous—photos of my garden were taken, pixelated, converted into a template and every so slowly woven together. You’ll have a little piece of my artistic journey with you.

As an Indigenous product, these earrings pay homage to the rich cultural heritage of my own relations. Each pair of earrings is carefully crafted by me using both contemporary and traditional techniques, creating a unique piece of wearable art that is both beautiful and meaningful.
