Chris is a Métis artist with maternal roots in Red River and paternal roots in Western Europe. They were raised on the West Coast of so-called Canada. They are currently an univited guest on the traditional and unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lōand Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil- Waututh) Nations.

Chris started beading as a way of connecting to their personal histories. Their work is inspired by the nature of the West Coast and traditional Métis motifs.

They are focused on sourcing ethical supplies and supporting Indigenous owned and operated businesses.

Apart from art and making, Chris is a full-time Psychology student. They focus their study on decolinized and Indigenized approaches to personal narratives.
